Nike and the NBA announced that the 8 oldest teams in the league will wear special “Specter” jerseys this season. What do think?
Oldest franchises in the league and instead of giving them something retro with a focus on team heritage they give them these monstrosities. They all look like knock-off energy drink cans.
No no no. Nike said that all of these jerseys were greatly inspired by each unique blend of their respective city, team history, and fan culture. And what doesn’t say fan culture like a green-ish jersey that morphs into a black-ish jersey. This is culture.

I do like the green/gold combo. And the black jerseys are nice. But the original green and white still the best.
I hate how every team gets a new alternate jersey every year. It makes the team brand/identity feel less important and a lot of the jerseys look like total shit while having nothing to do with the team’s primary colors.
Also, teams should go back to wearing white at home. Enough of the color-on-color matchups and teams wearing alternates in the playoffs.

They should’ve came back with the Bill Russell jerseys. Those were fire make like a white version it was right there. It was right there.
