No question he will surpass rebounds and assist and blocks and probably even steals and we’ll probably be pretty close to 30 points per game so has a chance that surpassing that as well although it’s probably the least likely of the major box course stats that he will surpass

Yes 100%.

He averaged 21/10/5 in the 16 games he played last regular season, and he was visibly not himself. For a couple weeks I believe he was the top rebounder in the league, or he was second behind Jokic or something like that. I don’t think it’s unrealistic to say he is a ³⁰⁄₁₀ guy this year.

Honestly even if he’s just ok, I think we’ll be as good as last year at minimum.

We have a better big rotation, the same guards and forwards.

JT looked solid when he came back and has had time to get in even better shape.He’s a much better player than JB and the key is his ability to create for his teammates, something that Jaylen has always been pretty poor at.

I think JBs inability to consistently find the open teammate was a big part of DWhites shooting woes and the lack of other guys to draw the Defences attention.

Now add a top 9 all time 3pt shooter, solid ball handler and self creator, with all defensive prowess to the mix in PG and I’m feeling pretty good.

My main concern is health. Otherwise this team objectively better than last year.

No he doesn’t. All star is mostly about putting up counting stats. Derrick is one of the best players in the league and has never made it. He’s probably not going to put up crazy counting stats. He just needs to be analytically elite (which he has been his entire career).

If we’re getting a second all star, it will be Payton, because he’s going to put up like 23-25 points per game this year.

Effort on defense, stay reasonably healthy. All I want for his time here. I pray to Red he opts out once we can spend again, but why would he? The mazzulla Smoke and Mirrors offense is built for dudes to simply stand around the 3pt line. There’s not much to injure a man standing in a corner, he should play 65 games here. So really, all I expect is solid defensive effort. No half assing like Smudgehead. If you think we can challenge for the banner with mazzulla and not go 6 deep with all stars, you’re crazy. He’s not a good coach, simply a warm body. We’ll be back though. Couple years we’ll have Flagg, mazzulla will be gone and we can play some basketball again.
