u/King_Of_Pants I think we’re in lockstep agreement in hoping for an Ace Bailey breakout that could lead to Lauri becoming available next summer where we can use PG’s contract.

I also think the odds of that increased with the Keyonte George extension.

I hadn’t actually considered it, but I am a big Lauri fan. I think he’s always been a bit underrated.

I’ve always been curious to see how his game would translate to the playoffs, but we’ve never really seen it before and by the time we do, he’ll likely be past his prime athletically.

That is a lot more realistic than other options I have seen. (and a lot more realistic than trading for Bailey, which I have seen floated too)

Especially since PG is still a valuable player in a diminished role and could fill a void that their team currently lacks with players willing to do any kind of dirty work.

My dream that I was thinking about for the next Big 3 would be Tatum/Franz/Lauri. I think that’s not nearly as good as the previous trio that my username was, but it’s about the next best hope that I think we could feasibly create.

18 days until the first preseason game and now 1 month (30 days) until regular season.

Training camp also starts in 9 days, summer is nearly over. This was a long summer, I’m so ready to see the boys in green play again
