They just changed this either in 0.5 or 0.5.5 right? I distinctly remember the controller trade ui matching Poe 1 in the earlier patches but I might be crazy since I skipped 0.5
Yeah they changed it in 0.5 and in the beginning of the patch it was very bad lots of options missing but they added it in later patches.
Yeah it was indirectly the exact same as the pc version of it and it was and it was the 0.5 update

I’m a newer player who just got my 35 atlas pts in abyss. What makes these omens drop best? And Do you always go down into the depths?
Depths dont always show up, but when they do, yes yes and yes. ALWAYS go down into the depths. Ive gotten all 55 omen of lights in the depths!
It’s so good that depths now always drop omen, I used to ignore them because they took so long because of the invulnerable enemy and didn’t even drop anything good
Always go into the depths, there the most omen of light drop! And there are good guides on YouTube how the new good light/cranium farm works, but the tablet prices exploded since them
What tablet mods are being used?
1x Abyss are overrun unique tablet, 2x abyss tablet with abyss are twice as likely to give rewards + more chance with abyss currency (unique tablet cost 11 chaos and the others ones around 10+divs each as I tried that yesterday + the cost for rolling the maps with rarity/monster rarity) insane expensive since the guy posted that video about that farm.
Omens drop off rares, the desecrate currency ie cranium off chests. Clear the whole depth to try get everything - it is not a big map….
So is the whole “strat” just tablets? Meh. Why does this game feel like investing in the stock market. Gotta invest in premium tablets to flip a profit or get very little natural drops with random tablets
I mean there are strats that dont require giga expensive tablets like tablet farming.
In general though, you gotta spend money to make money tends to be the rule
Its huge. I never spent much on tablets before because I’ve never had much currency, but I dropped about 12 div on 3 abyss tablets for the first time. Let me tell you they are worth every penny even if you are currently broke.
Just buy the cradle and the spark and do 1 more time the boss, and you will have full atlas points.
The price of craniums and omen of light do not reflect their rarity at all. I think, like Chaos orbs these have a natural use in high end crafting. Which is how it should be for all rare currencies.
Divines are rare but they’re quite low value when crafting so not that many are removed from the economy unlike omens, divines are constantly inflating
Yes, it seems that fracture, chaos spam, abyssal crafting is the only way to get guaranteed good items so these are the currencies which retain value. But it’s not great long term that crafting is in such a rut, it affects everything including the economy that most things are just shiny objects to sell and never use.

Yeah….divine value in POE1 is mostly tied to metacraft requirements - which is most obvious from the fact that the value swapped with exalted when they changed the use.
I do appreciate the change - it used to feel bad slamming something in POE because you felt like you were “wasting currency”. Now it’s less of an issue, and in POE2 I slam basically anything that’s already decently good just to see if I get something that ends up great.
The thing is divines aren’t rare tho. Go do expd city’s or wisps boxes or frac orb deli farming and you can drop 20-100 divines per map

Amananu, im playing arc totems and they’re really bad at farming omens on the surface as they instantly kill abyss monsters but apparently not fast enough as I see a lot of liege. Depths are wild though, have had multiple the past few days where I get 2-3 lights

Omens of light being valuable makes sense. Its a useful tool in aquiring nearly deterministic outcomes.
Craniums being 17d? Yeah no, we’ve lost the plot.
And while i like high end crafting in this game, mid teir crafting simply doesnt exist because of absurdly high prices. Crafting mats jump from a few exalts for essences / desecrations to 10d for omens and fractures. Wheres the middle ground?
5 mod jewels are the strongest thing in the game so cranium will be expensive
Or maybe your perception of currency values is just skewed by poe 1 experience? If alch and go 0 investment makes you 30d/h, then maybe 10d is just… not that much money in the overall scheme of the game.
Frankly the middle ground is in playing something broken or being fine with not having good items.
When the game was launched, they said crafting was being tuned back because there was no joy of picking up rares from the ground anymore. But they’ve set up the game such that that +2, high dps, high crit weapon that every attack build needs isn’t possible by picking up rares from the ground. So the only good items available are all crafted and not cheap, or you can just play something broken.
Very ironic and I think their insistence on making power not easily accessible to players is hampering build diversity in the game.
Personally I dont understand the sentiment of needing to play a top tier class to be able to “play” the game. This is my first arpg, and I’ve made 2 characters intentionally out of unpopular ascendancies like chronomancer and amazon. Didnt use guides for them, yet progress was smooth. Eventually when hit a wall in maps, buying like 1-2 div gear made me plenty strong enough to run every map as juiced tier 16 map. Yeah, maybe I couldnt survive a fully juiced 200% delirium, but other than that, all content of the game is playable and farmable. The pricepoints for next upgrades are so expensive, I dont much even see the need for them

Also full atlas wouldve increased your juice by a lot, definitely worth doing especially with how easy the points are
Whats your tablet and abyss tree setup (amanamu or ulaman)?
Im using Ulaman for currency, got tons of chaos and about 11 raw div drops in 14 hours (might not be much but not bad for a character running no rarity on his gear and alch and go mapping).
As for the tablets, i find the ‘Increased effectiveness of monsters’ or so is what I sought most. For the suffix mostly map contains 1 more abyss. Nothing special.

Increased effectiveness does not affect omen drops because abyss rares are hard coded to only drop 1 omen no matter what. Effectiveness affects quantity so no point. But increased rate monsters spawned and additional modifiers have a pretty large influence

If it’s amanamu void modifier then sadly yes. But lights can drop from other monsters as well now.
Weirdly enough, this kinda fits what i’ve seen this league. In that I got more lights progressing my atlas and getting the abyss points than afterwards fully juiced…

Its about 30ish div per hour which aint horrible for just a chill farm and not being a top tier strat. Comparitively, doing deli GE and Affliction fracture farming is more setup for around 75-100 div per hour
It’s not but most of Reddit literally alch and goes doesn’t have even the basics of map juicing down , to be fair it gets confusing and there is a lot of set up with multiple atlas trees involved.
Most set ups require huge investments , so even if a strat is 300-500 div an hour if your spending 300 div to set it up it’s really a gamble of 0-200 div an hour , and most high end farm is like that. It’s not really hourly but when you “hit”.
This player is using no investment , as you see they don’t even spend the extra money on tablets for increased depths , they don’t even have atlas finished , this is a casual player who probably has never looked up any strat. Probably doesn’t Ron / cpl / delirious / wisp juice / even use omens to roll maps , they don’t target t16/17 they don’t even run basic 8 mod maps , this is a guy just randomly hitting alch orb and tossing an abyss tablet in for 14 hours straight.
Objectively it’s not great but 30 div an hour is not bad for most people on Reddit or people who have not done any experimenting or finish late game trees.
He op optomized even the smallest bit the profit would have been wildly higher , as abyssal depths is 100 % taking all mods and bonuses from your maps now and you can force abyssal depths to 50:50 chance with around 400% increase ( literally 3 tablets not even 4 from city farm or your over 50⁄50 for depths spawn in the map) rolling his maps with omens , and only running 8 mods or t16 literally takes 3 minutes or less to roll 50-100 maps , with sustain now there’s no excuse to not at least do this over alch unless your truly brand new to mapping t15.
Tablets didn’t even have any of the right secondaries for OOL drops guaranteed , you can still buy 5 ex tablets and not buy depths tablets but if you understand the statistics carry into the depths you should pay more attention to what’s going on then.
With a fast build target farming ool , you could probably pull 4-5 times the omens of light an hour he was on average but sometimes much higher . Granted you’re also investing slightly more in the setup but again low - medium - and high investment abyss farming are all relatively cheap right now.
Reddit is not a good place to find the best strats, it’s where you go to find the best outrage for random mediocre strats because most people here are on a phone posting from work , and are giga fomo lol.

Lights are dropping in price, obviously due to these types of farming. Also, the UI is confusing, 476 divines would be about 8.3d each

I have 50 div and it’s all from abyss drops, not even trying to make currency. I just want the 8⁄8 so I can play D4, but it’s been cool making money while just alc and go’ing.

Did you get lightless void at all during that time? I’m farming abyss every day but haven’t seen a single abyss boss. Not sure if I’m bugged, but I’m on Amanamu.
Try exploring the atlas and you’ll find these cracks and do the cracks that have this depth icon at the end of the crack. The last node needs to have that depth icon. That’s how you’ll guaranteed get a boss but which boss I can’t guarantee. I have gotten both darkness domain and lightless void.

Nah. Its the only way to do it tbh. I rushed arbiter and then bought the core and killed him again. Max points. Thats why I never understood why people complain about the atlas tree taking so long, I was able to fill my tree within a couple hours (granted, I have a decent build and pretty decent gear so I could do it quick, but still).

You are doing something wrong because I get like 40-50 divines per hour with ritual and a modest investment, without even counting lucky rerolls such as MB or HH.
Probably. And I also hit higher on luck side in abyss, lower in ritual. Ritual is alright but I think Abyss is more profitable overall.

I dropped a cranium and two lights during like 2nd or 3rd season day while speeding with t1s to objectives. I think abyss is the best early endgame farm and pretty decent mid+. Won’t keep up with juiced expedition or 200deli setups tho.

Do better : Try to craft mid or high end weapon, if lucky you multiply that divines at least 3x

Can someone please help me out? i did several maps over the last two days and I am seeing 0 omen of light, 0 ancient bone but only 1 cranium. I have 168% rarity on my gear and most of the time 80% item rarity on maps, but I have only seen like 3-5 raw div drops. I wonder if it’s normal and could someone please help me out?😭😭😭 Thanks a million in advance!
Edit: Got all both main and abyss atlas points allocated as well, that could have bricked my farm.
As if Abyss wasn’t one of the most common strats already ever since 0.3. There’s a reason that blank abyss tablets sell for 5c each.
Abyss is fun to do, but it’s not an outlier. Ritual usually gives me somewhere between 40-50 div per hour with minimal investment, without even counting the increased odds of getting a MB or HH - which I have both found.
any good strategies for ritual? are the new wisp portals useful or is it the same old rite + extra reroll tabs
I don’t know about new stuff, I just do the old tactic of head of the king with unique tablet and 2-3 with omen chance. It’s just extra good because you already have ritual on your map because of the league.
Div/hr endgame design ruined this game. Currency farming simulator poe 1.5 is so boring.

You kill all the mobs but abyss doesn’t close.
Also happened with Ritual to me where I killed all enemies and I could not do the ritual. Mostly on specific maps where there are enemies that can spawn out of range for you to kill. I lost a lot of maps to these bugs.
FWIW I’ve only had that happen to me once this season in several hundred hours.
