Just made this disgusting ring
I just realized Kalandras is like 10divs, so you don’t need much to justify it.
Yea I just bought one for 8 divs.According to in game damage calc Kalandras is only 3% more damage than my other ring with only 2T1 attack rolls and life.
From memory Kalandra’s touch do not mirror the quality of the first ring, only its affixes and enchantment (with the exception of the +1 skill slot of unset ring).
so that might explain why the increase in overall dps isn’t that great.
Oh that’s really interesting. So I may just be better off with my previous ring.
Does quality on the kalandras work though?

I didn’t know the ring didn’t mirror the main ring’s quality. I vaguely remember ingenuity does affect the final state of the ring so assumed kalandra also did?
I’d turn that lighting into chaos just so I wouldn’t have to exclude lighting res on the rest of my gear and to get chaos way up
I have chaos res in most of my sockets so I’m set there. I’m using three uniques so it’s tough to cap all resistances.
Can you do that with crafted mod on it already?

I don’t fracture craft the majority of rings, you can get rings with 4 t1 mods on it already for cheaper than it would cost to frac and roll 99% of the time. Only real reason to try and fracture at that point is to hit like iir so you can whittle later.

What suffix would really be better than a stacking res for a non caster ring? There’s a couple okay, but somewhat situational, desecrates. For most non caster builds 2 res and IIR is pretty ideal so you can offload some resistances from gloves or neck for better suffix rolls there.
Attack speed alloy. Scales with attack quality
I mean I was filing that under ‘situational’ category, AS doesn’t do much if anything for a lot of builds and a lot of builds kinda have a threshold they want to hit but don’t go beyond that which you often pick up in tree or wep slots.

Yea I thought about that but I’m res capped without it so I figured I would add damage with attack catalyst.
The lighting would also increase the lighting damage, so there’s another option.

Omg can POE1 please get that advanced tool tip format???!?!? Ours literally rearranges mods, throws 1-4 hard to read gray lines of text in between them, and calls it a day. It was amazing when it was added, don’t get me wrong… but yours is sooooo much cleaner
