Hey all, just wanted to get some recs for builds that can clear endgame content without melting my GPU.

My PC is pretty bad and the first build I played this season was the Grenades Gemling but that ended up being me rolling in a circle unable to see anything but flames and fireworks and praying that I was aiming in the general vicinity of the mobs. Id mostly like to be able to see the floor and bosses so I can actually dodge things, and ideally not a minion build as I don’t really vibe with walking simulator builds.

Thanks for any suggestions or help.

Its the best option for monk cyclone like x4-5 dps. Anyway, challenges are pretty easy, you can do them in 3-4 days. And then you will hit your problem with low fps tryin to farm high-end strats. So i wasnt joking about HO warrior strat, if you wanna mirror/mb/hh etc

Came to recommend this as well. Huge aoe, fairly tanky, you basically just roll constantly in between casting your warcry (which recasts a few times automatically, so you’re only hitting the button periodically), and no ground effects, it just applies dots to enemies (and bleed explosions for clear)

It invests a ton into scaling your dodge roll for mobility (even running decree of flight) so it’s very comfortable for dodging things/mobility.

Even on junk rares, it had no problem doing arbiters, floor 30 trials, t15 abyss farming, etc. idk how well it scales for 200% deli and such, but there’s a few variations. I would start with Skadoosh’s fortifying cry, but there’s higher budget infernal cry versions that jack up the aoe even higher (Josiah has a guide, and I know Palsteron is currently tweaking his own high budget version)

Whirling assault martial artist monk is pretty low visual clutter especially with no mtx on whirling assault. Check out a video of Jungroans monk from 0.5 to get the idea. They’re all very strong and tanky with minimal investment

ED / Contagion chaos lich. Very tanky, range playstyle where you just spam totem and everything died in purple death. Easy mapping, but single target dmg is a bit lacking, but you can use essence drain for bossing.

I was looking for something like this. My favorite builds are mamba and eviscerate ignite in PoE1, and they’re super clean with almost no effects, but unfortunately, there’s still nothing like that in PoE2 - all the builds are just trash made up of a bunch of effects. The closest atm is a monkey companion probably.

I see alot answers here but ppls dont even understand what is clean builds.

Im playing on wooden pc aswell and what i found out recently is Gas Grenade poison stacking. Even tho it covers entire ground you still see whats on the ground created by monsters because of the contrast. Im using nonmtx version. Because of the way you play it even if your fps drops and the poison fog is there you probably kill everything regardless.

Play anything with freeze/shatter.

One of the main causes for lag and stutter in the end game is the amount of corpses littering the battlefield since they are all individually rendered. Playing freeze/shatter removes these corpses and makes your GPU happier.
