he’s a good player, not great, and he was getting on years for a player that only had hustle and effort in the “IQ” department, but he’s (reportedly) a great team mate and works hard

he was always inconsistent but was a decent player for the Warriors and Pacers, the only problem was the awful contract he had with the Kangz, he made 8m with the warriors and is making around 9-10 with the hawks which is perfectly reasonable for what he does

going off on a G7 in the playoffs is a lot more than other role players in the league, if you expect him to carry then that’s an expectation issue, he’s there to shoot 3s and hustle on D (and get lost on rotations often) and that’s it

We still love Buddy

Hield Kuminga and Butler were so good in that game 3 against the Twolves without Steph, but Randle and Ant were just on fire that game so the Warriors still lost and couldn’t get to game 6 where Steph could play.

weirdly enough towards the end of his warriors tenure buddy was actually a pretty solid slasher and finisher but was shooting like 30% from 3 lmao

Probably an unpopular take, but I’d take a chance developing both Anderson Jr. & Nembhard over playing old guy Schroder.

Ryan Nembhard clearly has TJM build potential: undersized PG off the bench who catches opponents flat footed, both with scoring and facilitation. That can be a pretty priceless player build.

But fuck it, cut him so we can develop him into our TJM replacement. just let the pacers sell some more braden smith jerseys first I guess.

Ryan Nembhard only shot like 40% from the field last season and he’s somewhere between bad and mid from 3, but the guy racked up dimes like crazy - and did so without turning the ball over.

He’s an undersized point guard who has TJ McConnell potential. Already a pretty damn good facilitator, but he needs to improve his shooting efficiency & PnR play.

I mean, his ball handling is pretty pretty good for his age, especially when combined with his really good floor vision. He’s a better PG than SG.
