Apparently most fans in the Yankees and Red Sox subs are convinced that the Rays are lucky because of run differential stats.
But they ignore how the Rays are #1 in steals, average, average with RISP, bunts, sac hits, and infield hits. They also have the MLB saves leader. They have the AL stolen bases leader who is also likely going to win the gold glove for LF and chasing Yordan Alvarez for the batting title. Oh and an ace in Rasmussen, a star in Junior, etc etc

A lot of people did. Even Rays fans. I thought 3rd place behind Sox & Yankees. Did not expect this.

It’s pretty amazing they’ve been such a well performing organization for so long through several chapters while playing in the AL east and having no money and no fans. Sincerest admiration and I hope they win one one of these days
